Tim Spoerl
Southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky
After a childhood of showing horses, I received a BS degree in Agriculture from The Ohio State University with an emphasis on Equine nutrition and reproduction. My first professional Equine job was managing a Thoroughbred breeding and racing enterprise. After 10 years on the farm, I transitioned to a role as an Equine Specialist for a regional company doing nutritional work, sales, and promoting a variety of products to the professional horse industry. 20 years on the road led to my current position as the instructor for Butler Tech Equine Science, a high school career tech program with a farm campus housing 20 horses and a science based curriculum.
I currently own and train a few performance horses, aiming at IBRA shows and speed events. Through school, I am associated with Ohio High School Rodeo Association, FFA, and our local 4H horse program. |
