USING A HOCK APPLICATOR
As many horse owners may tell you, some horses simply don't like having something on their back legs. Sometimes their reactions can be a bit less than desirable. Only you know your horse, so we can only offer the following advice. Get your horse used to the hock boot first. Place it on them, let them get used to the feel. If this takes an hour or two days, to achieve a comfort level, do so. Then place the coils on so they can get used to the weight, then begin treatments.
